Privacy notice

The quote form collects your name, email, postal code, province, model, buying timeline, message and consent. These details are used to review and respond to your request. Do not send credit applications, identification, financial account details or other sensitive information.

Forms are processed by Netlify when hosted there. This V1 does not automatically send your information to dealerships or enrol you in marketing. Any dealer sharing or marketing program requires a separately configured process and appropriate consent.

The calculator and offer tool process your inputs in your browser. Once configured, optional Google Analytics 4 measures page visits and actions such as calculator use, offer-tool use, and quote-form starts and submission attempts. Google Analytics loads only after you choose Accept analytics. Declining leaves Google Analytics unloaded. You can change your choice using Analytics preferences in the footer when analytics is configured. Your preference is stored in this browser for up to 180 days. With permission, Google Analytics uses cookies and collects technical usage information. We do not send names, email addresses, postal codes, quote messages, calculator amounts or offer amounts in our analytics events. Page URLs sent by this integration exclude query strings and fragments; referral information is limited to the referring site’s origin. No advertising analytics features are intentionally enabled. Google’s privacy policy explains Google’s processing. Analytics remains inactive if the operator has not configured it.

Operator and privacy contact

This independent site is operated by Dave Power. For questions about your information, access or correction requests, or to request deletion of an enquiry, email hello@buygeneralmotors.ca.

Storage and service providers

Netlify hosts this site and processes quote-form submissions. Cloudflare handles domain services and forwards email sent to our contact address to the operator’s inbox. Google Analytics processes optional usage measurements after consent. Service providers may keep technical logs needed to operate and protect their services. See Netlify’s privacy policy, Cloudflare’s privacy policy, and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Retention and your choices

Enquiry information is used to handle your request and related follow-up. It is deleted when no longer needed for that purpose, unless it must be retained to meet a legal obligation or resolve a dispute. You can request deletion using the contact address above. Analytics preferences can be changed using the footer control. Deleting an enquiry does not automatically delete technical records held by service providers under their own retention settings.
